Mumbida Wind Farm Pty Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Mumbida Wind Farm Holdings Pty Ltd, a joint venture created between Synergy, and Infrastructure Capital Group (ICG).
Synergy is WA's leading retailer and energy producer, providing approximately 60% of electrical capacity in the South West Interconnected System (SWIS), together with operation of wind, solar and wind-diesel systems in regional areas of Western Australia.
Synergy has over 20 years experience developing and operating renewable energy assets. Its renewable generation portfolio includes wind farms at Albany, Esperance and Kalbarri; a solar farm at Greenough River near Geraldton, and innovative wind-diesel systems in Bremer Bay, Coral Bay, Denham and Hopetoun.
ICG is an open ended unlisted unit trust that invests in energy-related utility and infrastructure assets predominantly in Australia and New Zealand. EIT is managed by Infrastructure Capital Group (ICG), a specialist funds manager and corporate adviser active in the infrastructure, power and utilities sectors.
ICG, as the manager of EIT and the Diversified Infrastructure Trust (DIT), has invested over A$1 billion of equity in the infrastructure sector and has strong specialist capabilities in existing and development opportunities in the energy sector, including pricing, generation, transmission and distribution across:
- regulated and non-regulated assets;
- renewable energy including hydro & wind; and
- in the diversified infrastructure sector across:
- transportation assets including toll roads,
- ports & airports; and
- social infrastructure assets.
