The Mumbida Wind Farm is located approximately 40 kilometres southeast of Geraldton and 340km north of Perth, Western Australia.

The site is well suited for wind energy generation, situated on a high plateau with gently undulating terrain, a maximum elevation of 250m and unobstructed exposure to south-easterly winds. The property is an operating grain and sheep farm which will continue to be used for these farm activities throughout th operation of the wind farm.

Visitors are able to view the Project site from an observation bay just off Connolly Road in Walkaway, City of Geraldton-Greenough, Western Australia orat the Renewable Energy Hub on Walkaway-Nangetty Road.
